Job Description:

Assistant Project Manager – Capital Delivery

Based out of our Raynesway (Derby) office, you’ll support the Project Managers by taking the lead on delivering your own projects, initially focusing on those that are less complex and lower risk. You’ll drive these projects forward whilst undertaking financial management and managing risk. You’ll also liaise with project stakeholders and be able to influence at both mid and senior leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and take lead on assigned projects.

• Manage the financial aspects of projects.

• Identify and manage risks to achieve project objectives.

• Engage stakeholders at all levels, including influence of mid and senior leadership.

• Deliver projects with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

• APM or Prince 2 qualifications, or exposure to the NEC framework (not essential).

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• A full UK driving licence.

• A positive, caring attitude and strong character.
