Foreman - Civils (Highways Frameworks)

Procter Street are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering works across local authority highway frameworks in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman to join a stable, growing business with a strong pipeline of secured, local work—meaning no long-distance travel or working away.
The Role
As Foreman, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of highways and infrastructure schemes, overseeing site operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising day-to-day site activities on highways and civils projects
- Managing site teams, subcontractors, and plant
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Coordinating works in line with programme requirements
- Liaising with engineers, clients, and local authorities
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Foreman within civil engineering/highways
- Strong knowledge of local authority highway frameworks
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams and drive productivity on site
- Full UK driving licence
