The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established and high-performing dealership in Ipswich that’s looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy aftersales department, drive performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the service department
- Lead, motivate, and develop the aftersales team
- Drive performance against KPIs, including revenue, labour sales, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure efficient workshop loading and productivity
- Maintain high standards of customer service and retention
- Manage budgets, costs, and departmental profitability
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company processes
About You
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record in driving performance and profitability
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Customer-focused with a hands‑on management style
- Full UK driving licence
