Service Manager

Ipswich – £40,000 – £48,000

The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established and high-performing dealership in Ipswich that’s looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy aftersales department, drive performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the service department
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the aftersales team
  • Drive performance against KPIs, including revenue, labour sales, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure efficient workshop loading and productivity
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and retention
  • Manage budgets, costs, and departmental profitability
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company processes

About You

  • Previous experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven track record in driving performance and profitability
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a hands‑on management style
  • Full UK driving licence
