Job Title: Recertification Manager - Safety Systems
Location: Manchester (Covering North West)
Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000
Benefits: Pension scheme, 25 Days A/L & full comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Recertification department dealing with a manufactured range of height safety and fall arrest safety systems (such as access ladders, walkway systems, lifelines, safety gates, steel and aluminium railing systems)
- Oversee operational delivery, including scheduling, CRM activity, site visits, surveys, and resolving issues
- Manage the Recertification Team (a team of 10), conduct performance reviews and ensure engineers remain fully compliant with current regulations
- Drive business growth, including new revenue streams, contract renewals, upselling services, and winning new clients
- Handle engagement with projects where average order values range from £10,000 to £250,000
- Occasional site visits with potential overnight stays
Ideal applicant / Qualifications
- Must have construction experience dealing with a technical product; ideally height safety and fall arrest safety systems (open to entrance systems or roofing systems)
- Must have people management experience
- Must have previous experience within repair, maintenance, re-testing, servicing or related
- Strong preference for experience of working at height
- Existing IOSH or NEBOSH certification or openness to obtaining qualification
- Capable of managing and expanding existing relationships and generating new business
- Organised with good time management skills and self-motivated to perform and reach targets
