Role Overview

As the Night Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing planning and continuously improving the night shift function within the company operation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the site cleaning planning system to ensure the achievement of operational standards and safety standards are consistently achieved.
  • Work hours: Monday – Thursday 9:30 – 6:30 / Friday 9:30 – 3:30.
  • Ensure cleaning schedules align with production requirements and minimize downtime.
  • Define clear expectations and standards for night shift cleaning activities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with other roles and tasks when required to support operational needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Night Shift Cleaning Team to optimise task effectiveness and performance.
  • Manage performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development plans.
  • Lead by example through high standards of communication, behaviour, safety awareness, and work quality.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and roles while leading the team to complete work safely and efficiently.
  • Challenge unsafe or inefficient practices constructively.
  • Assist and lead general labouring duties on site when required, including 5S, housekeeping, and site cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement improvements effectively.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision‑making capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

£52,000 per year.
