Role Summary
External broker and client-facing role providing day-to-day servicing and multinational technical support on an assigned portfolio of Multinational programs, supporting the Multinational Client Executive and Product Underwriter. The role supports all major Multinational lines of business.
About the Role
Coordinate the day-to-day multinational servicing activities throughout the program lifecycle on an assigned portfolio of complex accounts.
Proactively Manage Pre-bind Activities
- Utilize available AIG tools and technology to complete a comprehensive territorial analysis detailing the multinational regulatory requirements to be included in the quotation document.
- Collect any specific regulatory information impacting the program, including tariff and/or minimum rates, mandatory retentions or cessions, or other regulatory matters that require engagement with the AIG network prior to binding.
- Promote and drive the adoption of the AIG Multinational End-to-End process so all parties understand and commit to roles, responsibilities, and expected timelines, to provide elevated service performance and contract certainty.
- Assist with drafting and collecting facultative reinsurance documentation where required, ensuring adherence to AIG protocols and guidelines.
- Complete hand-off documentation to the Multinational Administrator / Multinational Operations for the release of network instructions, including reinsurance and captive structuring, ensuring 100% accuracy and alignment with bound program terms.
Proactively Manage Post-bind Activities
- Monitor program implementation to ensure network issues and rejects are addressed effectively in collaboration with underwriting, the Multinational Client Executive, and the AIG network.
- Engage with the AIG Reinsurance division to ensure cash-flow guarantees and PPWs are monitored, and contractual requirements and performance standards are met.
- Track performance and escalations, ensuring documentation is issued within agreed timeframes and premiums are collected in line with AIG payment terms.
- Provide regular updates to the appointed broker (or client if direct) on program performance until fully implemented.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Commercial insurance experience, preferably client servicing (broker or company background).
- Strong technical knowledge of complex multinational programs, including reinsurance structures, and experience in the multinational environment.
- Experience working with multinational corporations.
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines.
