Coffee Shop Manager - What you'll be doing:
As our Coffee Shop Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the café — leading service, driving standards, and making sure every customer leaves happier than they arrived.
Running the floor like a pro
- Lead day-to-day café operations with confidence and energy
- Keep service smooth, fast, and memorable during peak periods
- Maintain exceptional food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Oversee stock ordering, supplier relationships, and cost control
- Monitor labour, sales, and operational KPIs
- Review P&L performance and spot opportunities to improve
- Handle customer feedback with professionalism and warmth
- Continuously look for smarter ways to improve service and efficiency
- Work with marketing on local activations, launches, and promotions
Building a team people love being part of
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team
- Create a positive, fun, and inclusive team culture
- Deliver training that builds confidence and capability
- Hold regular 1:1s and support career development
- Manage rotas, absence, and performance processes
- Partner with head office on recruitment and onboarding
Coffee Shop Manager - What we're looking for
Essential
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
- Minimum 1 year in kitchen, café, or hospitality operations
- Hands-on leadership style
- Strong people management skillsPassion for hospitality and customer experience
Bonus points if you have
- Café, bakery, or fast-paced food concept experience
- Experience training and developing teams
- Confidence working with P&L reports and KPIs
