About the Role
Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Development Executive to join our Direct Corporate Risks team in the Billericay office. As a Development Executive, you will drive business growth by attracting and developing new client relationships within your specialist area, while delivering a high quality service and market-leading insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop a significant level of technical and industry expertise within your chosen sector, and use this expertise to create product propositions for target clients.
- Build and maintain relationships, and identify new potential introducers to clients in the sector.
- Provide market-leading risk management services, particularly for motor fleet risks, using our tech-enabled claims system which provides automatic insights to guide strategy.
- Monitor performance against objectives, forecasts, plans, targets and budgets; provide regular feedback to the Development Director.
- Work closely with the Account Handling and Claims teams to ensure the highest level of service and excellence.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the UK Commercial Insurance Market.
- Proven success and demonstrable expertise within the Haulage sector.
- Outcome-focused attitude.
- Ability to manage your own time and prioritise work without supervision, to meet deadlines.
- Strong contribution to the team through own ideas, initiatives and concepts.
Desirable
- Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance.
- Previous experience within the UK insurance industry.
