Senior Product Developer

We are seeking an experienced Product Developer to join our passionate team of chefs, technologists and dietitians who deliver award‑winning innovation, acting as a development lead on one of our market‑leading business units across key projects and programmes.

1. Act as the development lead for the Wiltshire Farm Foods product pipeline, driving product development from concept to launch.
2. Lead and manage Wiltshire Farm Foods development programmes at all stages of the process and deliver exceptional projects.
3. Ensure compliance with apetito development processes and company policies.
4. Deliver market‑leading innovative, proactive and responsive product development.
5. Identify and deliver product quality, nutrition and cost improvements, taking into account all stakeholders.
6. Support the improvement of development processes and procedures.
7. Proactively identify and propose new opportunities to improve our range.
8. Manage and deliver projects directly assigned by the Head of Product & Process Development.
9. Navigate the stage‑gate process, guiding stakeholders through development.
10. Pitch new ideas, lead projects that enhance customer experience and competitive advantage.

Essential

• Experience in chilled or frozen manufacturing.
• Background in prepared meals categories.
• Strong culinary or sensory evaluation skills.
