Inventory Clerk – Southampton Office

This is a full‑time position with an estimated total earnings of £27,500 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Take high‑quality photographs to supplement written descriptions and provide visual evidence.
  • Assess property cleanliness and note areas requiring attention according to the tenancy agreement.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to property owners or management.
  • Arrange and conduct check‑out appointments with tenants, clearly communicating inspection procedures.
  • Provide clarification and respond to tenant concerns regarding the inventory report findings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements for inventory procedures.
  • Organise and maintain accurate records of inventory reports, photographs, and correspondence.
  • Work effectively with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders involved in the process.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve inventory management procedures and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during property inspections.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
