Inventory Clerk – Southampton Office
This is a full‑time position with an estimated total earnings of £27,500 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Take high‑quality photographs to supplement written descriptions and provide visual evidence.
- Assess property cleanliness and note areas requiring attention according to the tenancy agreement.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to property owners or management.
- Arrange and conduct check‑out appointments with tenants, clearly communicating inspection procedures.
- Provide clarification and respond to tenant concerns regarding the inventory report findings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements for inventory procedures.
- Organise and maintain accurate records of inventory reports, photographs, and correspondence.
- Work effectively with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders involved in the process.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve inventory management procedures and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during property inspections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to inventory management.
- Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
