Job Overview
At Evri, we lead the way in delivery and invest to keep on growing. We are looking for a Night Shift Supervisor to join the Pen Y Bont Evri family and help delight our customers. The night shift runs 5 days out of 7, 23:00‑07:00, depending on volumes. The ideal candidate will understand how to motivate staff, efficiently prioritise pressing needs, and tackle situations where solutions are not obvious.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of up to 50 direct reports, providing leadership and direction for the shift.
- Develop and train reports to ensure SLA’s are hit for the night shift.
- Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations.
- Process BI and MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Management experience of leading and managing a team.
- Experience managing teams in a fast‑paced logistics environment is a definite advantage.
- Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines.
- PC literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of transport regulations is ideal.
