Blighter designs and manufactures the world’s best ground and coastline radars as well as software to make them smart and easy to use. We are growing rapidly and have new surveillance system projects that require careful technical project management to ensure smooth delivery of our hardware and software, and also happy customers.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage external project activities to ensure that they are delivered to specification in a timely and effective manner.
The role will involve:
- Communicating with customers or their technical support teams to prepare and provision for the installation and configuration of radars and software in agreed timescales.
- Generating and managing project plans for external projects (and occasionally smaller internal projects) and liaising with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure delivery of the right equipment at the right time.
- Close liaison with internal sales, technical and commercial teams, and for complex projects, communicating with customer’s technical team.
- Understanding the challenges of integrating complex electronic equipment in potentially difficult environments.
Expected profile:
- A degree in a technical subject and experience to meet the requirements above.
- Experience around electronic hardware or system design.
- Solid project management experience and familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Ability to document work accurately and clearly.
- Organising and managing technical projects.
- Good spoken and written English language skills.
Work arrangements: We support hybrid working but require you to be in the office for three days each week. International travel may be required occasionally to meet customers and/or visit installation sites.
