Role Overview

The EFL Administrator will oversee communication and management of the EFL office at the centre. They will report to the Director of Studies and ensure that all phone and email communication is appropriately handled. In addition, they will take charge of several administrative duties and ensure that the office is well organised and a positive working environment is created.

It is the perfect job for those who are newly qualified or are in the process of gaining their teaching qualification and would like experience in an EFL Teaching department.

Main Roles and Accountability

  • Works closely with the Director of Studies to ensure complete paperwork and efficient EFL department operations.
  • Manages EFL office communications (phone & email) dealing politely with parents, agents, and staff while ensuring constant staffing during lessons and daily Head Office contact.
  • Reminds teachers to complete class profiles, weekly logs/plans, lesson plans and progress tests, checks completion and liaises with Administrators for feedback distribution, analysis and resolution; records placement scores and ensures end‑of‑week reports and certificates are added to student notebooks.
  • Sets up teaching equipment (computers, printers, interactive whiteboards) via IT liaison and prepares weekly classrooms reflecting the “Exsportise School” brand with displays, stationery and materials.
  • Creates EFL registers from Head Office data, handles changes with Director of Studies, and manages optional exam logistics (logins, supervision, certificates).
  • Assists with placement tests, invigilation, break supervision, maintains EFL records (incidents, complaints, fire drills), acts as cover teacher if qualified, takes minutes at staff meetings and CPD sessions, and manages equipment, restocking, repairs, property sign‑in/out.
  • Collaborates with welfare for wellbeing reporting and provides inventory reports, supporting evening events when EFL lessons are morning or afternoon only.

Additional Duties

  • Provides staff welfare and operations support, adheres to Staff Handbook and Centre Manager directives with professional conduct.
  • Assists camp set‑up and pack‑down for smooth logistics and handles weekend student check‑in and check‑out including parents, passports, travel documents and pocket money secured safely.
  • Performs other reasonable duties demonstrating flexibility.

Contract Details

28/06/2026 or 05/07/2026 for 3–6 weeks.

From £585 per week (including holiday pay).
