We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing Procurement Team.

Our Procurement Team supports this by ensuring we deliver compliant, strategic and valuedriven procurement activities that enable colleagues to provide excellent services across Hafod.

What you’ll do :

As part of our Procurement Team, you’ll manage end-to-end procurement activity to help us deliver highquality, compliant and valueformoney outcomes. You will lead tender exercises, develop specifications, evaluate supplier submissions, negotiate contracts and support effective contract management.

You’ll be a key point of contact for colleagues across Hafod, providing guidance, training and handson support to ensure procurement activity aligns with the Procurement Act 2023, Public Contracts Regulations, Welsh Government policy frameworks and Hafod’s internal procedures.

What you’ll need :

  • Experience managing procurement activity in a public sector or regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of Welsh procurement frameworks, Sell2Wales, eTenderWales and the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills and experience advising or coaching colleagues.
  • The ability to analyze spend and supplier performance data, identify risks and recommend improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procurement requirements clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

The role offers a salary of £34,000 per annum.
