What you’ll be doing as our Project Manager:
- Act as primary interface between ONNEC Group and the clients in respect of being the first point of contact for design, operational and financial matters.
- Overall responsibility for the projects P&L.
- Produce and issue accurate monthly internal financial reports to the Operations Manager.
- Produce specific backup financial documents for each project.
- Compile and produce monthly client reports for review by the Operations Manager.
- Plan and coordinate design and production activities.
- Plan and coordinate material procurement and supply chain liaison in line with project plans.
- Plan and coordinate resourcing requirements in line with project plans.
- Plan and coordinate third‑party suppliers in line with project plans.
- Plan and coordinate project handover documentation in line with project plans.
- Develop project handover documentation.
- Ensure adherence by the Design and Production teams to published contract and commercial responsibilities.
- Provide regular updates to the internal team through internal meetings and reports.
- Transfer all ONNEC Group and Manufacturers warranties to the Contracts team upon project completion.
- Overall responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of both ONNEC Group and the Client’s Health & Safety policies.
- Overall responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of both ONNEC Group and the Client’s Quality Assurance policies.
- Overall responsibility for all deliverables (including documentation) conforming to both ONNEC Group and the Client’s published Quality Management System.
- Overall accountability for all actions of the ONNEC Group project teams.
- Overall responsibility for the motivation and development of allocated resources.
- Act as an escalation point for internal resources and client management teams.
What we’re looking for in our Project Manager:
Essential
- Experience of telecommunications infrastructure cabling deployments.
- Experience of project planning activities.
- Ability to travel EMEA and globally if required.
- Ability to absorb and manage new services and applications.
- Experience and temperament to deal with multiple site design and production activities.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop project team personnel.
- Experience of delivering services against formal sub‑contracts.
- Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) approval – Enhanced Disclosure Level.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) – Accreditation to Tech Manager Level.
Preferred but Not Essential
- Experience of physical security deployments.
- Experience of LAN / IPT & WiFi deployments.
- Experience of cashless catering and electronic registration deployments.
- Experience of financial and operational report writing and analysis to Director level.
- Prince2 and BICSi qualifications.
