Interim AI HR Project Manager

Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim AI HR Project Manager. Reporting to the HR Director, this role will lead the automation of front-door HR services, implementing AI and digital solutions to improve efficiency, service quality, and user experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead AI and automation projects across HR services
• Identify opportunities to streamline front-door HR processes
• Implement digital tools to improve HR service delivery
• Work with HR, IT, and transformation teams to embed solutions
• Establish project governance and delivery plans
• Engage stakeholders to support adoption and change

You will have:

• Experience delivering AI or digital HR transformation projects
• Understanding of front-door HR / employee services
• Local government experience is desirable
• Track record delivering service improvement through technology
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills
