About the Role
This is a client-facing leadership position, responsible for shaping and delivering digital technology strategy across retail clients while also driving business development and expanding the practice.
The role combines:
- Technology strategy and roadmap definition
- Operating model design and transformation
- Technology selection and advisory
- Commercial leadership and pipeline growth
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technology strategy and transformation programmes for retail clients
- Define target operating models and align technology with business goals
- Advise on technology selection, platform strategy, and roadmap development
- Engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Drive business development, including proposals, pipeline creation, and account growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end transformation
- Contribute to thought leadership and practice development
Requirements
- Experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or operating model design
- Strong retail / consumer sector experience (ecommerce, omnichannel, etc.)
- Background in consulting or advisory environments
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Exposure to commercial activity (proposals, account growth, or pipeline)
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery
