The Opportunity
A client is urgently seeking a hands-on Mechanical Installation Technician to support a short-term industrial installation project involving conveyor systems and bagging machinery within an organic processing environment.
This is a site-based, physically active role supporting an experienced on-site supervisory team, where you will act as an additional skilled pair of hands to ensure efficient installation works are completed on schedule.
Your Role
- Install and position conveyor systems on-site
- Support installation of bagging machinery
- Mechanical assembly and system connection work
- Assist with decommissioning of existing equipment
- Perform cable pulling and basic mechanical/electrical support tasks
- Work under supervision of site lead and technical personnel
- Operate safely in working-at-height environments (roof-level installation)
- Support general hands-on mechanical site tasks as required
Your Profile
- Strong background in mechanical installation / industrial fitting
- Experience working with conveyor systems or production equipment
- Comfortable with hands-on site work in active industrial environments
- Must be experienced (mid-level or senior operative preferred)
- Confident working at height
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a supervised team
- Available immediately for short-term contract work
Bonus Skills
- Experience in food, feed, or organic processing environments
- Previous conveyor installation or commissioning experience
- Cable pulling / basic electrical support exposure
- Previous shutdown or fast-turnaround project experience
