Project Engineer – Power & Energy

The Role
A well-established engineering business is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of electrical power and energy projects, including HV installations.
Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you’ll play a key role in coordinating engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical input to projects from initial planning through to completion
• Coordinate with installation teams, suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist with programme management, cost tracking and quality control
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports and drawings
• Ensure compliance with H&S requirements, including RAMS and risk assessments
• Liaise with clients, engineers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
• Experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within engineering
• Knowledge of power generation, electrical systems or HV installations
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project experience desirable)
• Understanding of H&S standards (IOSH or NEBOSH advantageous)
• Full UK driving licence
