Learning and Organisational Development Business Partner – Croydon Council. Salary – Grade 15 £55,323 – £57,402 p.a. plus benefits.

Contract Details

Contract: Permanent. Hours: 36 hours per week. Location: Croydon.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of a corporate learning and organisational development strategy that directly supports Croydon’s strategic priorities.
  • Diagnose systemic organisational challenges, shape culture and values, and embed inclusive leadership to support organisational resilience and performance.
  • Act as a trusted OD partner and change agent, commissioning and overseeing targeted interventions that enhance leadership effectiveness and long‑term organisational capability.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and transformation colleagues to deliver high‑impact OD programmes that drive continuous growth and sustainable change at scale.
  • Translate strategic ambition into practical, values‑driven action and influence at the most senior levels.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience of leading organisation‑wide change and influencing senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable OD interventions.
  • Proven track record in developing inclusive cultures and championing change in a complex environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Relevant experience in public sector or similar large organisational contexts is desirable.
