About the role
Kaluza is the Energy Intelligence Platform, transforming energy complexity into coordinated solutions. In this role, you will own the strategic heart of our meter‑to‑cash capabilities, leading a team of Product Managers and Business Analysts and shaping product architecture that drives revenue, compliance and customer trust for energy retailers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion a clear, ambitious product vision for the Billing & Payments domain, technically feasible and commercially compelling.
- Lead the definition of product functional architecture in partnership with Engineering leadership, ensuring scalability, compliance and longevity across geographies.
- Drive the full product delivery lifecycle, removing blockers, accelerating throughput, and enabling cross‑functional teams to ship high‑quality outcomes at pace.
- Collaborate deeply with Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Pre‑Sales and Commercial teams to align priorities and translate complex domain challenges into elegant product solutions.
- Represent Kaluza’s billing and payments capability externally, engaging prospective clients, participating in commercial conversations, and building confidence in our platform’s scalability.
- Coach, develop and inspire a team of Product Managers and Business Analysts, actively growing the next generation of product leaders.
- Contribute as a key voice in Kaluza’s senior product leadership community, shaping how the entire Product organisation operates and evolves.
About You
- Significant experience in senior product leadership—ideally at Director level or equivalent—owning complex, commercially critical product domains end‑to‑end.
- Deep expertise in billing, payments or meter‑to‑cash processes within the energy, utilities or a similarly regulated industry, with a solid grasp of compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategy across multiple geographies and regulatory environments, balancing global platform thinking with local market needs.
- Strong experience leading and developing high‑performing product teams with a genuine commitment to people leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders—including C‑suite, Engineering leadership and external clients—with clarity, credibility and commercial acumen.
- Experience working at the intersection of product and architecture, confidently engaging in high‑level solution‑design conversations with Engineering counterparts.

- Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven or data‑intensive platforms, and an understanding of applying machine learning or real‑time decision‑making to billing, pricing or payments challenges.
- Prior exposure to SaaS or platform business models—particularly in an energy retail or utilities context—navigating the balance between partner customisation and scalable platform design.
- A network within the global energy sector and experience representing product capability in commercial or pre‑sales settings with enterprise clients.
