We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Cyber Security to join our fast-growing Cyber Security team, in this role you will be responsible for shaping and executing the Nomad’s security strategy in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with various departments to assess risks, create preventative measures, and ensure compliance across Nomad’s infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. Establishing and maintaining a programme to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic, long-term information security strategy and roadmap to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.
- Lead the cyber / information security function across Nomad Foods to ensure consistent and high-quality information security management in support of the business goals.
- Develop a security workforce that is diverse and inclusive, scalable as the organisations grows, and provides possibilities for career growth and advancement.
- Manage varying staff resources and budget assigned to the Cyber Security Team.
- Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the security posture of the organization.
- Oversee tools and platforms implementations to ensure a high degree of efficacy in both implementation and operation.
- Maintain and mature Nomad Foods Cyber Security Risk Management, including Information Security Risk Register.
- Define, measure and report security program KPI’s that show program maturity and demonstrate performance standards and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Present to Board and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective responses to security breaches.
About you
We’re looking for a head of Cyber Security who has as strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. In addition, we need someone who has Understands how various aspects of security relate to the IT systems, devices, and networks upon which the business operates and relies and has excellent knowledge of applicable Laws. Some of the must have requirements to be successful in this role are:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
- 7-10+ years of experience in a senior security management role, with a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing security strategies and frameworks.
- Experience in working in an international FMCG environment is desirable
