Job Summary
We are seeking two highly organised and motivated individuals to join our Quality Assurance and Improvement Team (QAIT) within the Children and Families Department. QAIT delivers a robust Quality Assurance and Improvement framework, ensuring continuous evaluation of children and families’ outcomes and experiences. This role supports improvement at organisational, service, and system levels.
Role Responsibilities
- Quality Planning: Plan, coordinate and deliver QA and improvement activity in line with the Quality Assurance and Improvement Framework.
- Quality Assurance: Verify and analyse service delivery outputs against regulatory inspection bodies’ quality requirements.
- Quality Control: Lead the continuous development and review of cross‑departmental policies, procedures and guidance, accounting for statutory and regulatory frameworks and changes in national policy.
- Continuous Improvement: Aggregate and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify and test improvement actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area (e.g., project management, health and social care).
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis.
- Good knowledge of children’s social care legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge of quality and improvement principles, change management and continuous improvement cycle methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in using IT systems and software for reporting and analysis.
- A full driving licence and access to transport to support delivery of in‑person service activity across NCC offices.
