We need ‘Oracle Fusion Finance Solution Architect’ to support our Oracle Fusion related applications and delivery for one of the UK’s large airline customer.
Functional Responsibilities
- On the end-to-end functional design of Finance in Fusion, ensuring the solution is fit‑for‑purpose, integrated and sustainable
- Finance Process and Solution Design:
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end Finance processes
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Cash Management
- Process flows
- Functional architecture
- Chart of Accounts and Ledger Design
- Chart of Accounts structure
- Ledger & legal entity setup
- Business units and balancing segments
- Prepare functional design documents (FDD), configuration workbooks, and test scripts
- Define accounting rules across submodules
- Ensure : Consistent accounting treatment
- Ensure : Compliance (IFRS/GAAP)
Technical Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture, ensuring integrations, data, security and performance are robust and sustainable
- Integration Architecture – design how Fusion interacts with other systems
- APIs
- File-based
- Event based integration
- Select and design middleware using Oracle Integration Cloud
- Retry mechanism
- Monitoring and alerting
- Support inbound and outbound integrations with:
- Third‑party vendors
- Banks and payment systems
- Payroll and time tracking systems
- Data architecture and migration
- Reporting and data extraction architecture
- Support data migration and ongoing data loads using HDL and HSDL
Your Profile
- 10‑12 years of experience with Oracle Fusion
- Expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance module implementations
- Design and Blueprint experience
- Taxation and IFRS regulations
- HDL and Spreadsheet Loader (HSDL)
- Basic SQL knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Finance certification
- Experience with multi‑country or global finance implementations & Architecture
- Knowledge of local statutory taxation rules (country‑specific)
- Experience in AMS / production support environments
- Exposure to Payroll and HRMS integrations
