Resourcing Business Partner – Golborne – WA3 3JD
You will source talent in a proactive, cost‑effective and sustainable way, ensuring every opportunity is taken to strengthen organisational capability. This will be done through a combination of traditional and innovative resourcing solutions while building strong working relationships with functional managers and key operational stakeholders. You will be assigned a varied portfolio of roles to source and will have the opportunity to share new and creative ideas for talent marketing.
Responsibilities
- Organise and attend regular meetings with hiring managers, key stakeholders and People Business Partners within the assigned business units to ensure workforce analysis, resource planning and vacancy progress are reviewed regularly.
- Meet the hiring manager to take the brief and raise the requisition on the internal ATS.
- Proactively source candidates through direct sourcing, direct advertising, head‑hunting, talent pipelining, and creation of candidate pools.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Senior Resourcing Business Partner on recruitment performance as requested.
- Be responsible for the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Manage the offer process in a personal way once the hiring decision is made.
- Communicate with the new hire to ensure full onboarding is initiated after acceptance.
- Keep the careers website and vacancy sites up to date with inclusive wording.
- Collaborate with the Senior Recruitment Partner on special projects, including major project resourcing.
- Provide training to hiring managers on all aspects of recruitment, including interviewing and selection.
- Ensure resourcing’s contribution is strategic and aligned to the commercial goals of the business.
- Attend relevant seminars and courses to maintain personal and professional development, such as legislation changes and employment law updates.
Qualifications
- Proven recruitment experience either in‑house or agency, with a history of managing a busy desk across various disciplines, ideally from construction or engineering.
- Comprehensive track record of managing recruitment cycles from start to finish.
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with a passion for finding the best talent in the market.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
- Versatile, creative and innovative in talent marketing approaches.
- Experience coaching and developing managers and senior managers in recruitment methods and best practice.
