Store Manager – London, Hackney – Theydon Road

Overview

Location: Londres, Hackney – Theydon Road • Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum plus great benefits • Contract: Permanent • This full-time Store Manager role is responsible for delivering the store purpose, guiding commercial and community strategies, and leading the team to create a great shopping experience for customers, colleagues and members.

Responsibilities

• Empower your team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co-op difference to customers and members
• Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views
• Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential
• Make sure the store is safe, legal and operational
• Manage and optimise your store’s commercial performance, recruit new team members and manage HR processes

Requirements

• Experience of guiding and developing a team in a busy, service-focused environment
• Good communication skills; ability to coach, motivate and inspire your team
• Resilience and strong problem solving skills
• Ability to understand and analyse commercial information
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team with delivery of store activities
