Job Description:

IKEA Leeds are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the team as a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader. In this role you will support your team to deliver the Outbound Goods operation ensuring that customers can find the products they want when they want them.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Start Date of employment will be in April; final date will be discussed with the selected candidate to accommodate notice periods and business needs.
  • 39 hours working 5 days per week including alternate weekends.
  • Salary starting from £29,215 per annum, based on skills & experience.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Experience of leading a large team in a busy warehouse environment with the ability to prioritise and organise workloads.
  • Results‑driven approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals, making quick decisions and taking personal initiatives.
  • Good communication skills to build relationships with co‑workers and customers.
  • Ability to implement structural ways of working, with problem‑solving experience and proficient computer literacy.
  • Keen to contribute a fresh outlook and a collaborative spirit to the team.
  • Experience working and building relationships with cross‑functional partners to ensure efficient warehouse operations that meet deadlines and deliver results.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Ensure efficient daily operation within outbound fulfilment, making goods available for customers and supporting staff as needed.
  • Coach, develop and inspire a motivated team, maintaining a work environment that supports equality, diversity, inclusion, and well‑being.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workplace, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
  • Work with the team to reach business goals, review workloads, ensure daily volume handling, meet seasonal demands, and keep costs low.
