You will take the lead on shaping sustainable water environments by using advanced modelling to solve complex infrastructure challenges. This role offers the autonomy to influence long term investment decisions while accelerating your professional growth through a structured development programme.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in urban drainage modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
- Proven background within the UK regulated water industry.
- Proficiency in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or MapInfo.
- Strong communication skills for technical reporting and client liaison.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science.
- Experience in model build, verification, and hydraulic analysis.
- Ability to coordinate and deliver technically robust infrastructure projects.
- Background in catchment planning or drainage management planning.
- Professional chartership with CIWEM or ICE is highly desirable.
- Capable of implementing industry leading technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop computer models to investigate network issues and plan engineering solutions.
- Analyse complex datasets to support technical decision making and option development.
- Provide expert guidance to clients to assist with major asset investment strategies.
- Contribute to technical innovation and the improvement of environmental standards.
- Mentor junior staff and supervise technical outputs to ensure quality assurance.
