We are recruiting for a Fleet & Procurement Manager to join a growing infrastructure business on a fixed-term basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the effective management of fleet operations and procurement activities, driving efficiency, compliance, and value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the company fleet, including compliance, telematics, and incident support
- Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and operational standards
- Manage servicing, maintenance, and fleet performance
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Procurement & Contracts
- Procure goods and services in line with business needs and budget requirements
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts, ensuring performance and value
- Lead negotiations to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Support contract management across key business areas
Operations & Leadership
- Plan workloads effectively, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Use data and reporting to inform decisions and improve performance
- Manage, support, and motivate a team to deliver high standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience procuring goods and services and managing contracts
- Strong ability to plan workloads, prioritise effectively, and use data to drive decisions
- Experience managing fleet operations, including compliance, telematics, and incident support
- Demonstrated experience managing, supporting, and motivating a team
- Strong background in large-scale construction, civils, or infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
