Job Description:

This role would be responsible for the overall management of the delegate experience, from pass sales to ease of access to the Industry & Professional programme, both in-venue and online.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

This is a full-time (41 hours per week) role on a Fixed Term Contract (22 June to 6 November 2026).

What you’ll do

  • Line-manage the Delegate Services team and Press and Industry Venue Coordinators as per the BFI’s Performance Management Scheme.
  • Manage expenditure within budget available.
  • Work with the Filmmaker and Industry Services Manager and Marketing Team to promote the sale of delegate passes and achieve income sales target.
  • Work with the Senior Systems Co-ordinator to oversee all aspects of the delegate application, website and communication’s system (Eventmaker). Including setting-up and managing the processes for delegate registration forms, payment for passes, producing delegate badges, e-communications, and maintenance of the delegate website and app. Ensuring that these systems are running smoothly and delegates can navigate these systems with ease.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience in a management or team leadership role in a film festival, cultural or similar events environment.
  • Significant experience of using content management systems and delivering email campaigns.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve sales income.
  • Evidence of proven project management skills/experience.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive and customer-focused approach delivered within a best practice framework
