About the role: We are recruiting a Workshop & Events Facilitator to support the delivery of one-to-many workshops and events across Greater Manchester. This role focuses on the effective coordination, administration and performance management of workshops, seminars and events funded through national and European programmes. You will manage a portfolio of workshops and events, working closely with internal teams, partners and stakeholders to ensure each event is delivered on time, meets contractual requirements and achieves the best possible outcomes for clients. The role combines event coordination, stakeholder engagement, data management and compliance reporting. This position is well suited to candidates with experience in workshop coordination, programme support or events administration within publicly funded, local authority or business support environments.

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of workshops and events programmes, ensuring delivery meets stakeholder expectations and funding requirements.
  • Proactively engage with internal teams and partners to support event planning, scheduling, content and promotion.
  • Coordinate event bookings and enquiries across phone, email, web and face‑to‑face channels.
  • Carry out eligibility checks where required and ensure bookings are handled accurately and consistently.
  • Use CRM and data systems to manage referrals, allocate event hours and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure data is recorded correctly across CRM systems, databases and event platforms.
  • Analyse and report on performance and management information to support service delivery and improvement.
  • Support the organisation and administration of seminars, conferences and larger events, including registrations, attendance and feedback.
  • Work with marketing colleagues on larger events, supporting registrations and on‑the‑day facilitation where required.
  • Collect, record and report performance and impact data in line with contract and funding requirements.
  • Support accurate financial administration, including purchase orders, invoices, claims and reconciliations.
  • Monitor suppliers and contractors, including site visits where required, to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing systems and processes and identifying areas for development.

What we are looking for

  • Experience coordinating workshops, events or programmes within a publicly funded or support‑led environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Experience using CRM systems, databases and management information tools.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling data and compliance requirements.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Experience producing performance or management information reports.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
