Commercial Finance Analyst

This is an exciting commercial finance role in an iconic, fast paced consumer group. Its a 12 month contract initially, which offers hybrid working.

Its paying £60-£65k annual salary. It would suit a qualified accountant or finalist who has previous experience in a commercial finance role.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as the senior finance representative to partner with the business looking at commercial performance and outcomes
• There is a heavy focus on sales analysis and working with the retail sites to improve trading and performance
• Advise on opportunities to improve profitability, manage costs and grow revenue
• Partner closely with the business to influence commercial decisions aligned to strategic priorities
• Lead the end-to-end planning cycle, including budgets, forecasts and long-term financial outlooks
• Translate financial data and insights into clear recommendations that support effective decision-making
• Partner with stakeholders to agree actions that deliver strategy, offering constructive challenge where needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified accountant or finalist (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience in a commercial finance role, working in close partnership with senior stakeholders and operational leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
