Position Summary:
Reporting to Corporate Finance, the Business Finance Manager (International) is responsible for managing the financial health of the Int'l organization, promoting success and growth while complying with legal and financial practices. This includes making financial decisions, analyzing company finances and enforcing audit compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compiling financial data, creating reports and analyzing the financial health of the Int'l Organization.
- Overseeing the Int'l finance structure, including the relationship with local accounting firms.
- Working closely and regularly with Corporate Finance to manage company budgets, forecast Int'l finances, and establish budget guidelines for all departments. Pro-active review of OpEx & P&L accuracy.
- Identifying ways for the organization to cut/optimize costs and increase profits.
- Assessing financial risks.
- Enforcing policies and procedures that keep the company in compliance with financial regulations.
- Centralize AR.
- Credit Management, AP review and validation (including approval matrix).
- Banking/cash management with FX optimization.
- Ability to manage operational costs and implement cost control strategies that align with business goals.
- Follow up regional VAT collection & management.
- Coordinate and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple countries.
- Liaison person with Int'l Commercial Leaders & HQ.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Travel Requirements:
- This position may require business travel of 30% or more of the time.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Based in the UK (London area preferable)
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years equivalent work experience.
- At least 4 years of Finance Manager experience is required, international exposure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SAP is a must. Any other additional software a plus (Salesforce, PowerBI, etc.).
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with ability to adapt in a fast-growing environment.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Flexible and independent individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS) and experience preparing or reviewing financial statements
- Strong business proficiency in English; additional Int'l language is a plus.
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
