Associate 2-5 PQE - Leveraged Finance

Leveraged Finance Associate (2-5 PQE), US Law Firm, London

We are working with a leading US law firm on a position within their highly regarded Leveraged Finance team in the London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer at a mid-level to develop within a team that operates at the top end of the market with an international reputation.

Responsibilities

The team is primarily sponsor-facing, advising leading private equity houses and financial sponsors on complex acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. Work may include syndicated loan facilities and direct lending transactions, including term loan and unitranche structures, across a range of complex cross-border European mandates. The team is also active in the high yield market and I'd be interested in discussing the firm with candidates who have gained experience on this side too.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2-5 years of post-qualified experience in Leveraged Finance for the team structure
• Qualified in England & Wales, or internationally qualified including Australian or New Zealand qualified lawyers, ideally with London-based leveraged finance experience
• Training or experience at a leading City of London, international or US law firm

Salary: £180k+ (dependent on level and experience, plus competitive bonus and benefits)
