This RCVS‑accredited Tier 3 hospital and training practice is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities, including:
- Digital X‑ray
- Endoscopy and dental radiography
- Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery equipment
- 64‑slice CT scanner
- 5T MRI scanner
The practice has a strong focus on clinical excellence, professional development, and certificate‑led progression, making it an ideal environment for vets looking to advance their careers.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced veterinary team and will be responsible for:
- Delivering high‑quality consultations and case work‑ups
- Performing routine surgeries including neutering and minor procedures
- Undertaking sole‑charge branch work (approximately 50% of the role), with the option for branch‑only work supported by the main hospital
The role provides exposure to a varied caseload and the opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, as well as colleagues currently pursuing further qualifications.
Working Pattern & Flexibility
4‑day working week.
- Weekend rota: 1 in 8 full weekends (Saturday & Sunday), or 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in 8 weeks
- Occasional out‑of‑hours cover for holiday or sickness
- Flexible working options are available and can be tailored to suit individual preferences

Candidate Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS)
- Confident in routine surgical and medical cases
