We're working with a well-established engineering business looking to bring in an Internal Sales Engineer to support their growing sales function. This is a great role for someone with sales experience who wants to move into a more technical environment, or someone already in a similar role looking for a better setup.
What you'll be doing
- Handling incoming enquiries and turning them into commercial opportunities
- Preparing quotes and proposals for customers
- Following up quotations and closing business
- Building strong relationships with key accounts
- Supporting external sales and wider commercial activity
- Occasionally attending client meetings across the UK
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
- Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries at once
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in engineering, electrical or technical products
- Knowledge of UPS systems or similar equipment
