This role is advertised on a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you’ll design and manage DevOps pipelines across PaaS‑based Azure environments, embedding secure‑by‑design principles and meeting industry and government security standards.

You’ll work closely with development, operations, and security teams to deliver automated, secure, and scalable services, while supporting live and non‑production platforms. The role includes 3rd‑line support, break‑fix and out‑of‑hours cover on a shift basis, platform optimisation, and providing hands‑on technical support to development teams.

Responsibilities

You may be required to undertake other duties assigned by your line manager as appropriate.

Reporting Structure

This role will report to the Azure Engineering Manager and will sit within our Service department.

Remote Working

We’re a fully remote organisation; however, our roles are UK‑based and can only be performed within the UK. We come together in person twice a year for our All Hands events to connect, collaborate, and strengthen relationships. From time to time, there may also be occasional in‑person team meetings.
