Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Romsey, Southampton
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000
Position Overview
Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Romsey, near Southampton. Due to ongoing success and growth the business is seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Support new product introduction projects through trialling & inspecting tools and ensuring quality through use of a CMM and producing FAIRs.
- Creating work instructions and sales drawings.
- Producing non-conformance reports and fault‑finding issues.
- Assisting with the maintenance and repair of equipment.
Requirements
- Proven background with NPI projects, Quality and Manufacturing.
- Good communication skills.
- Qualifications within the Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing field.
- Based in a commutable distance of Romsey, Southampton.
Remuneration
Salary £35,000 – £38,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 17:00; Friday 08:00 – 15:00 full‑time, permanent position.
Company Pension.
25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing with tenure.
