Overview

We are seeking a strategically minded Senior Account Manager with CRM expertise to work on a key client, Toyota Motors Europe (TME). This pivotal role involves advising the client in developing and delivering best-practice, next-generation marketing automation. You will be instrumental in expanding the account's remit by leveraging AI and the WPP Open platform to enhance marketing capabilities and measure performance effectively. As a key partner to the client, you will help shape their cross‑channel CRM strategy, ensuring all activity is innovative, data‑driven, and flawlessly executed.

This is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of CRM campaigns for Toyota Europe, managing projects from initial brief through to final asset delivery.
  • Act as a key day‑to‑day contact for the client, building a strong, collaborative partnership and guiding them on what it takes to deliver best‑in‑class, AI‑enhanced CRM.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects smoothly, coordinating with internal strategy, creative, and data teams, as well as client stakeholders, to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Champion the use of marketing technology and AI tools within the team and for the client, identifying opportunities to improve campaign performance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with CRM Strategists to deliver strategically sound campaigns, establish effective working practices, and support the growth of the client's marketing automation capabilities.
  • Support the Business Director in developing the account, identifying strategic opportunities for growth and demonstrating the value of our integrated, AI‑powered approach.
  • Oversee campaign performance measurement, using data and AI‑driven insights to provide actionable recommendations for optimisation and future campaigns.

Skills Required

  • CRM & Email Marketing Expertise: Deep experience in CRM, email best practice, and cross‑channel campaign production, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Strategic Project Management: A proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organisation, methodical thinking, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • AI & Platform Acumen: A strong curiosity and understanding of how AI can be applied to marketing automation. Experience with marketing technology/email platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe) is highly advantageous.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Excellent client service instincts with the ability to build trusted relationships, guide senior stakeholders, and balance a strong point of view with the ability to listen and adapt.
  • Collaborative & Proactive Mindset: A self‑starting, proactive, and dedicated team player who is relentlessly curious about people, technology, and business, and is energised by delivering excellent, results‑focused work.
