At Cathay Pacific, our Cabin Crew are the true heart of everything we do. You are not just serving passengers—you are our brand ambassador, bringing our core values of being Thoughtful, Progressive, and Can-Do to life at 35,000 feet. If you have a naturally warm and outgoing personality, a genuine love for connecting with people from all walks of life, and a desire to create delightful travel memories while exploring the world, we would love to welcome you to our London-based team.

Responsibilities

  • Putting safety, first aid, and security procedures above all else—this is your number one priority, always.

  • Showing up as a true brand ambassador, offering genuine, personal hospitality that makes each customer feel seen and valued.

  • Turning a routine flight into a memorable journey, looking for small ways to exceed expectations and brighten someone’s day.

  • Attending to customer needs with care and professionalism, especially those who may require a little extra help or patience.

  • Embracing the beautiful diversity of our passengers and crew, contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone belongs.

  • Adapting confidently to whatever comes your way—delays, turbulence, a nervous flyer, or a special request—with tact and flexibility.

  • Following inflight policies and all regulatory requirements with attention and integrity.

Qualifications

  • To be at least 18 years old.

  • A GCSE-level education (or equivalent) with a pass (Grade C or 9-4) in English.

  • The unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English, plus fluency in at least one of the following languages: Cantonese, Putonghua, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, or Thai. (Putonghua is a particularly welcome addition.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to listen, respond, and connect.

  • A minimum arm reach of 208 cm while on tiptoes.

  • A valid TOEIC score of 325+ in Reading and Listening, or an IELTS Academic Band Score of 6.0+, if you wish to be exempt from our English assessment.

  • Previous experience in airlines, hospitality, or service roles is an advantage, but your personality and mindset matter just as much.

Safety Requirements

  • A thorough pre-employment background check.

  • A Police Act Disclosure Application, as required for airport restricted zone access.

  • A pre-employment medical assessment to confirm physical fitness.

  • A pre-employment drug test, following HKCAD Guidance for Screening of Psychoactive Substances (CAD373).

Benefits

  • Work schedules designed to fit different lifestyles—whether you prefer patterns or flexibility.

  • World‑class training and a clear, structured path for career progression.

  • A safe, collaborative environment where diversity and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords—they’re how we operate.

  • Eligibility for private medical insurance after completing six months of service.

  • Discounted travel across many airlines for you and your loved ones.

  • A generous company‑contributed pension scheme after three months of service.
