A growing and forward-thinking construction business in Doncaster is looking to recruit a Design Estimator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing accurate material take-offs from drawings and project plans
• Reviewing project materials, quantities, and associated costs
• Supporting with cost control and project budgeting
• Assisting with planning and reviewing groundwork and drainage requirements
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure projects run efficiently and within budget
• Supporting the wider commercial team with day-to-day project cost management

Skills & Experience

• Experience producing material take-offs
• Understanding of construction materials and project costing
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
• Design experience would be desirable
• Knowledge of drainage or groundwork plans and material take-offs would be highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
