Design Estimator

A growing and forward-thinking construction business in Doncaster is looking to recruit a Design Estimator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing accurate material take-offs from drawings and project plans
- Reviewing project materials, quantities, and associated costs
- Supporting with cost control and project budgeting
- Assisting with planning and reviewing groundwork and drainage requirements
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure projects run efficiently and within budget
- Supporting the wider commercial team with day-to-day project cost management
Skills & Experience
- Experience producing material take-offs
- Understanding of construction materials and project costing
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Design experience would be desirable
- Knowledge of drainage or groundwork plans and material take-offs would be highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
