About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our successful dealership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service, and building long-term relationships with customers.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between the customer and the workshop, ensuring all service and repair work is communicated clearly, efficiently, and professionally.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers professionally and act as their main point of contact throughout the service process.Accurately book vehicles in for service and repair work, ensuring workshop schedules run smoothly.Provide clear explanations of service and repair requirements, costs, and estimated completion times.Liaise with technicians and parts departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle history.Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance the customer experience.Ensure every customer leaves fully satisfied with the service provided.
About YouTo be successful in this Service Advisor role, you must have:Proven Service Advisor experience within a franchised dealership or reputable independent garage.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.A proactive, positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.A full UK driving licence.Candidates from non-automotive sales roles will not be considered for this position — Service Advisor experience within the motor trade is essential.
