Duties
- Appoint, train, and supervise staff members.
- Oversee the daily operation of the store, including administration, facilities, security, and customer service
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Regularly review and assess staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching when needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide customers with information about merchandise and special promotions.
- Address customer complaints and inquiries related to sales and service in a professional and efficient manner.
- Ensure that sufficient reserves of merchandise are maintained to meet customer demands.
- Oversee efficient stock keeping procedures, including inventory counts and replenishment.
- Maintain and safeguard financial records accurately.
- Implement security measures to protect the store’s premises and assets.
- Authorise payments for received supplies and make decisions on pricing, discount rates, and credit terms.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of merchandise.
- Ensure that advertising and display facilities are effectively utilised to promote products.
- Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
