Imaging Administrator – Spire Parkway Hospital (Private, Solihull)
Responsibilities
- Contact patients and arrange radiology appointments, liaising with other departments as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain communication with patients on routine care matters.
- Input patient data onto hospital and radiology information systems.
- Manage email enquiries and referrals in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain administrative duties (e.g., filing, photocopying of documentation).
- Transfer and deliver radiology reports to appropriate destinations.
- Efficiently and accurately book and record patient details and appointments via telephone, face to face, and referral letter.
- Greet, welcome and provide any necessary assistance to patients, consultants and visitors.
- Register all new or follow‑up patients.
- Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all information is recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act, Information Governance and other Spire policies.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous and relevant experience in a multi‑skilled, patient‑support role.
- Highly organised and able to manage workload.
- Proficient in the use of PC, including Microsoft packages.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
