Job Description:

SalaryHourly rate: £12.40 – £14.13 (London), increases after 6 months in role.

About the Role

Work on‑site, reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager. Duties include operating tills, providing customer advice, and assisting in the back shop. You will be provided with award‑winning training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers and put them at ease: listen, ask questions and give great advice, recommend items, and offer a basket.
  • Get to know and promote in‑store offers and schemes.
  • Assist with smooth store operations: display products on the floor, serve customers at tills, and help with stock in stock rooms.
  • Work with team members to keep the store clean, presentable and prideful.

Qualifications

  • Full training is provided; we are looking for people who excel in a varied, fast‑paced environment.
  • Can communicate and listen effectively.
  • Enjoy teamwork and promote a collaborative dynamic.
  • Recognise that little things make the biggest difference for customer interactions.
  • Desire to be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help customers find the best products.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience providing customer care and delivering great service (not essential).
