Technical Project Manager

Are you a talented naval architect or engineer with excellent people skills and a desire to work on world leading superyacht projects? We’re working with an industry long-termer who are growing their project management team in response to larger and more technical large yacht projects. Located on the UK south coast they employ and operate a team across all areas of large yacht engineering and have multiple awards to their name. The role Technical project manager includes the following duties: – Acting as liaison between studio, yard and owners team – Troubleshooting across all areas of assigned projects, speaking from a point of knowledge and experience – Managing across a range of deliverables such as time, cost and quality – Completing detailed reports for all stakeholders In an individual we’re seeking an experienced engineer or naval architect with the capability to lead and manage both internal and external stakeholders. With strong people skills but also excellent technical capability you’ll be able to advise and amend documents but also have the awareness and words to explain to those less technical as to why. Commercial acumen is also a key skill requirement.
