Land & Planning Manager
Up to £60,000 + Benefits

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a privately owned strategic land promotion company with an established track record of unlocking complex sites and delivering consented land for residential development across the UK. Working in partnership with landowners, local authorities, and housebuilders, the business promotes land through the planning system to bring forward deliverable, high-quality schemes.
Following a period of sustained growth, my client is seeking an experienced Land & Planning Manager to join the team.
The Role:
- Sourcing and appraising new strategic land opportunities
- Negotiating Promotion Agreements and Option Agreements with landowners
- Managing planning applications and coordinating professional consultant teams
- Engaging with local authorities, elected members, and community stakeholders
- Supporting the disposal process to housebuilders following consent
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within strategic land, planning, or residential development
- Sound knowledge of the UK planning system and Local Plan process
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and appraisal capabilities
- RTPI, RICS, or a relevant degree (Planning, Geography, Real Estate, or Surveying)
- Self-motivated and well suited to an entrepreneurial, autonomous environment
The Package:
- Basic salary up to £60,000
