A leading UK law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Housing Development & Regeneration team in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest and most established residential development practices in the UK, advising major housebuilders, developers and investors on high-profile, complex projects.

You’ll work as part of a nationally recognised team advising on a broad range of residential development matters, with exposure to high-quality work and a strong, established client base.

The Role
Your work will include:
- Advising on land acquisitions and disposals (short- and long-term)
- Supporting and leading on title due diligence
- Working on strategic land matters including option and promotion agreements
- Advising on overage, collaboration and joint venture arrangements
- Supporting complex residential and mixed-use development projects
- Delivering clear, commercial advice to a strong client base
- Building and maintaining client relationships
You’ll be working on high-value, often complex transactions as part of a collaborative, well-resourced team.
About You
You will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years’ PQE
- Have experience in residential development or real estate
- Be commercially minded with strong attention to detail
- Be confident managing your own caseload and deadlines
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
- Have strong communication and client-facing skills
Experience working with housebuilders or on strategic land matters would be advantageous, but not essential.
