About the Role
You will take full responsibility for leading and developing the Mathematics department, with a particular focus on A-Level and Further Mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Leading the strategic direction of Mathematics across the college
- Delivering outstanding teaching at A-Level (including Further Maths)
- Driving exceptional student outcomes and university progression
- Managing and developing a high-performing team of teachers
- Overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, and intervention strategies
- Supporting students aiming for top universities, including Oxbridge
Qualifications
- A highly effective Mathematics teacher with a strong academic background
- Proven track record of delivering excellent A-Level results
- Experience teaching Further Mathematics is highly desirable
- Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Department role
- Passion for academic excellence and supporting high-achieving students
